GO measure practical economy

I am not sure about this but still,

  1. Goal Orientation: Any research has a defined goal and depending on that goal it has specified objectives. So the sample should be designed in such a way that it is relevant to the goal and objectives.
  2. Mesurability: The sample size should be managable to the researcher. It should not be too large to access or not too small that the results will not be generalisable.
  3. Practicality: The sample should have practicality means it should be accessible and the research to be conducted should be practical that is, it can be conducted on human beings.
  4. Economy: The sample should selected keeping in mind the expenses of the research. It should not be too large to exceed the budget. Also the time factor should be aken into account that is the research should not be too long such that the samples will drop out from the research.

You’ve said in your post that “….should be practical that is, it can be conducted on human beings”. It may not necessarily be that the study is always carried out on humans, it may be a stack of CDs evaluated for their technical quality, a set of websites evaluated for their graphic and textual appeal. It could be rephrased to say studies can be conducted on the desired sample, what do you think?

What you've written about other criteria is fine.
